SOL International Music Festival

Chamber Music by the Albanian Ionian Coast

Festival Venue

The court of the Church of Saint Spyridon stands in the historic village of Vuno, on the slopes of the Albanian Riviera overlooking the Ionian Sea. Surrounded by a peaceful stone courtyard, the church and its yard form a unique cultural setting where history, architecture, and the natural beauty of the village come together — creating an intimate atmosphere for concerts and artistic events during the festival.

What makes us unique

Our festival brings together young and talented musicians from across Europe, alongside Albanian artists who have built their careers abroad. We invite them to perform in a truly special place in southern Albania, creating a meeting point between international excellence and local heritage.

At the same time, the festival becomes a cultural exchange: we bring European classical music to Albania, while sharing Albanian culture, nature, and hospitality with the European musicians who come to perform here.

Another distinctive aspect of the festival is its setting. We present classical music in a region better known for its breathtaking landscapes, tourism, and cuisine. By doing so, the festival adds a new dimension to the south of Albania, encouraging a different kind of tourism — cultural tourism — for audiences who love and follow classical music.

In this way, the festival connects music, place, and people, creating a unique artistic and cultural experience.
