Discover Vuno
Perched on the hills of the Albanian Riviera, overlooking the Ionian Sea, the village of Vuno is one of the most charming and historic villages of southern Albania. With its narrow stone streets, traditional houses, and breathtaking views of the coastline, Vuno offers a unique atmosphere where history, nature, and culture meet.
At the heart of the village stands the Church of St. Spyridon, a beautiful Orthodox church surrounded by a peaceful courtyard shaded by old trees. This intimate and timeless space, overlooking the sea and the surrounding mountains, creates a magical setting for music. It is here, in the courtyard of the Church of St. Spyridon, that the Sol International Music Festival takes place, transforming the historic village into a meeting point for young international artists and audiences.
Himara
Located just a few minutes from Vuno, Himara is one of the most vibrant towns of the Albanian Riviera. Known for its crystal-clear waters, lively seaside promenade, and rich cultural history, the town has long been a crossroads of Mediterranean influences.
Himara also plays an important role in the life of the festival. It is where the musicians gather for rehearsals before the concerts and where the second edition of the Sol International Music Festival took place, further strengthening the connection between the festival and the cultural life of the region.
