The second edition of the festival further developed the collaboration between Albanian and international musicians and continued to promote Albanian music alongside European repertoire. This edition featured two concerts with very different artistic formats and a highly varied program, including chamber ensembles for strings, piano, and voice. One of the distinctive elements of this edition was the participation of ballet dancers, as well as the involvement of a children’s choir from Himara, creating a vibrant and multidisciplinary musical experience that was warmly received by the audience.
2024
The first edition of the Sol International Music Festival took place in the courtyard of the Church of St. Spyridon in Vuno, bringing together young international musicians and Albanian artists in a unique and intimate setting. The festival exceeded expectations, attracting a full audience and creating a strong connection between performers and the local community. Each of the three concerts presented a different musical formation and atmosphere, with a highly varied program including a string sextet, a wind trio with piano, and a concert for soprano and guitar, offering audiences a rich and diverse musical experience.
